Summer
August is in its middle, so if you miss some care about your flower garden, it is still not too late to do it. For any questions, do contact your local professional gardener for proper advice and help.
GRASS

If the top layer at a depth of 15-20 cm has darkened and become muddy, then you can stop the sprinkler system. To protect some more sensitive plant species from fungal diseases, water them with a watering can without a grid, being careful not to wet their leaves.
If your lawn grass has grown a lot during the holidays, you should mow it at least three times. First at a height of 10-12 cm, after a week – at 7-8 cm, and after another seven days – up to 4-5 cm.

August
August is also the month in which the Hodge tulip (Fritillaria) is planted. Keep in mind that the hodgepodge tulip grows from 60 to 100 cm. Distance between the plants should not be less than half a meter. Dig a hole 30-40 cm deep. Fill the bottom with drainage sand 10 cm thick and plant the bulbs in it. This sand cushion will prevent root rot, which is common in fritillarys if there is water stagnation around them.
